NALP/NALP Foundation COVID-19 Roundtable #2

05/14/2020 - 05/14/2020
New York, New York

Please plan to join members of the NALP Board of Directors and the NALP Foundation Board of Trustees on May 14 at 4pm for a roundtable discussion about some of the most pressing issues facing law schools and law firms as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic. This discussion will focus on bridge programming to cover unexpected gaps in summer employment for students, the mental and emotional health of our students, lawyers, and staff teams, beginning to think through phased reentry and what restart looks like, and finally, whether this crisis presents a transformational moment for legal education and the profession. The roundtable discussion will be moderated by Beth Moeller, NALP President (UCLA) and Howard Ellin, NALP Foundation Chair-Elect (Skadden). Additional panelists will include Bruce Elvin (Duke), Jen Henfey, NALP Board Director (Villanova), Traci Mundy Jenkins, NALP President-Elect (Venable LLP), David Botter, NALP Foundation Trustee (Akin Gump), Stacey Kielbasa, NALP Foundation Trustee (Chapman and Cutler), and Jennifer Queen, NALP Foundation Trustee (Bracewell).

Registration is available here. In addition to registering through the link above, individuals who are not NALP members and who did not register for the first Covid-19 Roundtable should contact Jeremy Bloom at jbloom@nalpfoundation.org so that they can be added as approved attendees.
