For the first time, The American Lawyer has conducted its Law Firm Corporate Practices of the Year Awards to highlight the expertise law firms exhibit across corporate practices such as M&A, tax, finance, governance and more. The corporate awards shine a light on the best of the best—those firms that clients should call with their critical corporate work.
Howard Ellin, Chair of the NALP Foundation and long-time member of our Board of Trustees, has been named one of seven finalists for the Corporate Attorney of the Year award, which honors lawyers who have demonstrated a consistent level of excellence across several matters during the submission time frame. Ellin is an M&A Partner with Skadden Arps in New York City.
The American Lawyer has also announced law firm finalists in an overall general corporate category, as well as finalists in the specialty industry categories of health care, life sciences/pharmaceuticals, technology/telecommunications and energy.
