Holly Hawkins Saporito serves as the Chief Legal Talent Partner at Alston & Bird in Atlanta. Drawing on nearly 20 years of experience litigating intellectual property cases in district courts, appellate courts, the PTAB, the TTAB, and the ITC, Holly is a first-chair litigator helping clients of all sizes tackle their patent, trademark, copyright, and trade secret disputes.


Holly represents clients in a wide variety of industries, including telecommunications, payment systems, retail, food and beverage, and computer software. She represents companies at all stages of growth, from startup to Fortune 500, in high stakes intellectual property disputes.


Her work has been recognized in leading industry publications. At the Managing IP Awards 2022, Holly was part of the team recognized as ITC Firm of the Year, and she was further recognized as lead counsel for Managing Intellectual Property’s trademark impact case of the year.


Holly received her BS, with high distinction and with honors, from The Pennsylvania State University, where she was the top graduate and Outstanding Senior in Industrial Engineering. Before attending law school, she worked as an engineer at Los Alamos National Laboratory. Holly received her JD, with honors, from The George Washington University Law School.
